Seven hundred ceramic vessels painted by hand in Santa María Canchesdá, numbered one by one, with monofloral mesquite honey from Jalisco inside. When the edition closes there will be no restock: the next one will be another piece, another brushstroke, another name.
Why seven hundred and not more
The limit is not a scarcity strategy. It is the harvest. Mesquite flowers briefly and irregularly, and a single bloom from a single territory does not yield more than this. When that honey runs out the edition ends, and the mold for the vessel is retired from the workshop.
No two are alike
The artisans paint freehand, without a stencil, and the relief is modeled piece by piece before the first firing. The consequence is simple: the piece that reaches you exists nowhere else. It carries its number, and that number happens only once.
What happens when the honey is gone
The vessel is airtight and it stays. It changes jobs — coarse salt, earrings, spices — and it is still on the table years later, telling where it came from every time someone asks.
