Shipping policy

Fantina is made in Mexico. Orders inside Mexico leave our Guadalajara studio. Orders inside the United States leave our warehouse in McAllen, Texas.

Production happens in Jalisco and in Santa Maria Canchesda. Finished pieces for the United States are consolidated and exported by the pallet to McAllen, where Fantina is the importer of record. From McAllen every order is picked, packed and dispatched piece by piece as a domestic United States shipment.

Either way you pay no duties, no customs fees and no import paperwork. Your order does not cross a border after you buy it.

Rates

  • Insured delivery is included in the price of every piece. Nothing is added at checkout, in either country.
  • Several pieces ordered together travel in one box.

Dispatch and transit

  • United States: dispatched the next business day from McAllen, Texas. Transit is three to five business days, and New York metropolitan addresses are usually at the shorter end.
  • Mexico: dispatched the next business day from our Guadalajara studio. Transit is two to four business days, with no customs step. Honey and coffee are food, so no IVA is charged.

Tracking is emailed the moment the parcel leaves. We do not dispatch on weekends or on public holidays.

How it is packed

Ceramic travels in a rigid box built for it, inside a protective gift case. The parcel carries no prices and no visible invoice, so it can be sent straight to the door of whoever receives it. If a handwritten card was requested at checkout, it travels inside.

If something arrives damaged

We replace the piece. No questions. Write to fantina.sale@gmail.com within seven days of delivery with your order number and a photograph, and a replacement leaves on the next dispatch.

Quantities per client

Enredadera is a numbered edition of 700 and is limited to two vessels per client. Flora and Oaxaca Single-Origin Coffee are limited to ten pieces per client. These limits are applied automatically in the cart.

Bars, restaurants, hotels and managed residences that need more should open a trade account at Trade & Hospitality. Trade orders start at ten pieces and ship insured with next business day dispatch.
